A successful image is not created in a burst of light at 1/60th of a second. It is manufactured over time through conversation, with attention to details and a depth of photography experience. David McCammon uses light to highlight the details of machined steel, to provide shape to fresh fruit or to illustrate the wooden grain in a finely constructed chair. He engages his subjects to bring out that enthusiastic, caring expression or the twinkle in their eye as they lean slightly into the camera. After 30 years as a professional photographer, David recently published his book Image Power: Balancing Passion and Profit in Business. His intent? To illustrate to photographers how they can make a great living in this incredible industry!
