Dereck Coons has been making violins for over twenty years. He began his formal education at Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana. He opened his own Violin Shop in Tampa Florida in 2013 and has been very successful. He continues to enjoy building instruments and running his business. He hopes to be able to step away from the day to day operations of running a business to spend more time on building unique and beautiful instruments.
